Application Note: This gasket allows for a more precise fit into applications where the oil drain tube flange uses the smaller (6mm) bolts instead of the typical (8mm) bolts.

In addition, many new OEM applications use oil drain flanges that use the small 6mm bolts.

New/smaller turbo sizes recently introduced (sub GT25 sized turbos et. GT/GBC20/22) use 6mm bolts at the drain flange so this gasket is a better fit.

If you are using m8 to m6 "step-studs" on GT/GTX G series turbos to re-use OEM drain tubes, this gasket is a better fit.
